A man tripped over a curb and hit his head on a metal fence.
The 68-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
Pittersberg – A fatal accident occurred in the Upper Palatinate town of Pittersberg (Amberg-Sulzbach district) on the night of New Year's Day.
Man stumbles over curb in Upper Palatinate and dies
As the police announced on Sunday, January 1, a man tripped over a curb in Pittersberg.
The 68-year-old hit his head on a metal fence.
He was injured so badly that he died at the scene of the accident.
The man was under the influence of alcohol, according to the police.
No other person was involved in the incident.
