It's a bit annoying outing, a bit cumbersome package to carry around... But it's for a good cause!
Paris offers you to place your Christmas tree in one of its 173 tree parks in order to recover it in shredded material.
These collection points are open until January 20.
The list of collection points is available on the Paris City Hall website.
Some of these parks are open 24 hours a day, others during the opening hours of the gardens.
All the practical information by district is listed on this same page.

Too attached to your tree, you forget to part with it before January 20th?
There is a solution: it is possible to take it out at the same time as the “household waste” bins with green lids in your building.
It will simply be necessary to cut it in half if the tree is more than 2.5 m.
Reused as close as possible to the collection point
The “Recyclons nos fir trees” operation aims to prevent illegal dumping and incineration of conifers in the same way as household waste.
Once crushed, the fir lines the flowerbeds of Parisian parks and gardens.
It thus makes it possible to limit weeds, to prevent the evaporation of water at the foot of the massifs and on the paths.
It can also be used to delimit picnic areas.
In an ecological concern here again, the shredded Christmas tree is reused as close as possible to its deposit site, in order to limit its transport.
Will the record for recycled trees, reached in 2022, be beaten this year?
At the end of the previous year's recycling campaign, no less than 124,488 Christmas trees had been collected and recycled.
