Have you ever wondered if you are having enough sex with your partner?
It turns out that there is a specific number that reflects the average number of times people have sex, and it is not that high.
Daniel Chal uploaded a video to TikTok in which he "revealed" that the average couple has sex 54 times a year and added: "The next few days are going to be crazy for me."
If we simplify this number, it is a really not very challenging number and all that is needed to reach it is to have sex 5 times a month.. even less.
But most of the responses to this video were like "I lower the average, if it makes you feel good about yourself".

The official statistics published in 2017 state that the average person in a relationship has sex about once a week.
Another study that examined 30,000 Americans over a 40-year lifespan found that those who have sex above average are not necessarily happier, but those who have sex less than once a week feel less satisfied with themselves.

Of course, this TikTok video presents a very partial truth and researchers at the Kinsey Institute for the Study of Sex, Gender and Fertility at Indiana University in the USA decided to give us a reliable source of comparison in an area that will surely interest many of you - the frequency of intercourse in each age group.
Unsurprisingly, the study shows that the active group The most are young people between the ages of 18 and 29, who have sex an average of 112 times a year - or twice a week. In second place in the table are those aged 30 to 39 with an average of 86 times a year, or 1.6 times a week. On the other hand, people between the ages of 40 and 49 have sex an average of 69 times a year - half of the youngest age group tested.
In addition to the division by age groups, the researchers also segmented the data by marital status and the conclusions they reached are not particularly encouraging.
They found that 34 percent of married women and men reported having sex between two and three times each week.
45 percent of them do it several times a month and for 13 percent of them it is an extremely rare event that only happens a few times a year.
