Confined morning for the students of the Condorcet high school in Méru (Oise).
This Tuesday morning, the high school students were asked by the gendarmes to gather in the gymnasium of the establishment, following a bomb alert, spotted by the principal on social networks.
The doubts were finally dismissed by the gendarmes and the confinement of the students could be lifted shortly before noon.
“We had to confine your children this morning in the gymnasium to secure them following an alert, indicated the management of the establishment in a message addressed to the parents of students.
The gendarmerie has almost completed its work of checking the school.

Twenty establishments affected in France
According to the academy of Amiens, it is the headmaster of the establishment, “alert by the diffusion of a threatening message”, which put the pupils in safety inside the establishment.
The intervention of the gendarmerie ended around 1 p.m. and made it possible to rule out any risk.
The Oise high school is not the only one to have been the subject of this false bomb alert on Tuesday morning.
In total, according to the academy of Amiens, about twenty establishments (colleges and high schools) were concerned in France by these messages "carrying threats of attack".
According to the rectorate, these were mainly noted in Hauts-de-France, “and to a lesser extent in Créteil, Grenoble, Versailles, Normandy, Lyon”.
“These messages were spotted by parents on WhatsApp, Snapchat or on ENT (digital work space).
Each time, the academic services reacted immediately and implemented an appropriate procedure.
