This is the judgment pronounced Monday by the Nantes Criminal Court, during the trial relating to a violent intrusion into the Hôtel-Dieu university hospital center two years ago.
On the night of January 21 to 22, 2021, a 23-year-old young man was arrested after a night chase in Nantes.
He was then taken to hospital by firefighters, under police escort, complaining of stomach aches.

Around 1 o'clock in the morning, individuals had entered the traumatology box of the CHU where the detainee was.
After attacking staff members and people watching the injured man, they released him.
Outside, about fifteen people had protected the escape of this man, who was the subject of several search sheets.
Eight complaints from police officers but also from hospital staff had been filed for violence.
One of the accomplices was arrested immediately, another the next day, and the fugitive a few days later.

In court, the escapee, now 25, said he was surprised to see people come to his aid.
“I was in custody.
I am not Pablo Escobar but a normal person.
I don't know who picked me up and how it was arranged.

He was sentenced to four years in prison, one of which was suspended.
His 20-year-old half-brother, prosecuted for aiding the escape and destruction of property, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, seven of which were suspended.
A sentence covered by his pre-trial detention, specifies the regional daily.
The last, 23, left with 30 months in prison, twelve of which were suspended.

The three men also no longer have the right to go to the hospital.
