Four people were rescued yesterday (Tuesday) after their car fell off a cliff in Northern California, United States.
Among them were a four-year-old girl, a nine-year-old and two adults.
From a preliminary investigation it emerged that the vehicle they were driving, a Tesla, was not in self-driving mode and the cause of the fall has not yet been determined.
The vehicle fell from a height of over 67 meters while driving on a highway along the coast, in an area called the "Devil's Slide" due to the multiple accidents that occurred there.
The passengers rolled over with the car several times on the rocks until it stopped and settled on a depression between the cliffs.

A woman who witnessed the accident told NBC: "While I was driving, I thought to myself that he was driving very fast and you shouldn't be driving like that. While doing so, I saw in the car mirror that the car continued to slide down the cliff."
She later added that she immediately called 911, the emergency center in the United States.
