Pforzen – In the night from Monday to Tuesday at around 0.30 a.m., the police were informed of an attempted homicide in Pforzen in the Ostallgäu district via an emergency call.
The caller stated that she had just stabbed her roommate with a knife.
The incoming officers from the Kaufbeuren police met the 51-year-old suspect at her apartment on Dorfstrasse in Pforzen and arrested her without resistance.
The victim, a 47-year-old, was found with injuries in front of the house and taken to a hospital.
The prosecutor at the Kempten public prosecutor's office, who was on duty that night, classified the act as attempted homicide.
The first investigations were carried out on site by the permanent criminal service of the Memmingen criminal police.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Kaufbeuren police department under the direction of the Kempten public prosecutor's office.
The responsible department of the Kripo Kempten took over the securing of evidence at the scene of the crime.
Furthermore, a forensic medical examination was carried out by the forensic medicine department in Munich.
The alleged perpetrator was brought before the investigating judge at the Memmingen district court yesterday (Tuesday) at the request of the Kempten public prosecutor's office.
Because of the urgent suspicion of attempted murder and the suspect's mental state, the latter ordered the accused to be temporarily accommodated in a specialist clinic, as requested.
