An emergency supply is also recommended.
Geretsried – In the event of a blackout lasting several days, the emergency meeting point of the city of Geretsried is in the council chambers at Karl-Lederer-Platz 1. The municipality announced this on its website.
"Even if a blackout is difficult for us to imagine, you have to prepare for it just like for other disasters that can be triggered by floods, storms or other events," it says.
The district office and municipalities are currently coordinating and taking measures to be prepared as far as possible in the event of a long-term, large-scale power failure.

In addition to the precautions taken by state authorities, everyone should also have an emergency supply of water and non-perishable food at home.
Some cash, a full first aid kit, and candles can also be helpful.
