Holiday 2023 without a mass rush: In which weeks no federal state has holidays

Holidays are for many to relax - just stupid when thousands of others have come up with the same idea and the beach is crowded.
It is better in periods without school holidays.
The year 2023 is here and with it the travel planning for the summer begins for many.
Those who have school-age children in particular have to concentrate on the weeks when there are holidays in their own state.
However, if you are flexible in terms of time and want to avoid overcrowded beaches or excursion destinations, you can specifically choose those weeks for your vacation in which there are no school holidays in any federal state.
Holiday 2023: There are no school holidays in Germany during these periods
Spend a week on the Baltic Sea or go hiking in the mountains - in around 15 weeks of the year 2023 this will also be possible without a rush of visitors.
At least if you disregard foreign travelers.
Popular beach destinations in Europe, which Germans like to visit, may also be less crowded – and flights and accommodation are usually cheaper outside of the holiday periods.
Baltic Sea tourists know this: In summer, the beaches quickly fill up.

It is therefore worthwhile for everyone who is flexible in terms of time to take their holidays in weeks when there are no school holidays.

Take the opportunity - and go on holiday in 2023 without crowds of visitors
In the warm months from June to August, due to the summer holidays for travelers, there is only a small period when there are no school holidays - from June 12th to June 22nd.
But even in September, when the new school year has started everywhere in Germany, it is still warm enough for a vacation on the beach in many travel destinations on the Mediterranean.
And with the heat records of the past few years, that might be the better choice.
On top of that, there is a long period without school holidays in winter from the beginning of November to the end of December - the perfect opportunity for a long-distance trip for sun-seekers.
