The Government of Mexico announced on December 1, 2022 that the country's minimum wage increases by 20% starting in 2023.

As of January 1, the minimum daily wage went from 172 Mexican pesos (US$9) to 207 Mexican pesos (US$10.82), announced the Minister of Labor, Luisa María Alcalde, during the daily press conference of the Government in Mexico City.
