As-Suwayda - SANA
With the aim of facilitating citizen s' transactions without delay, the work of installing a solar energy system for the building of the town council of Al-Thala town in As-Suwayda governorate has been completed, at the initiative of the local community activities in the town.
The head of the town council, Khaldoun al-Abed, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the system guarantees the speedy completion of transactions without delay and secures the electric supply for office equipment in the council, in addition to the cultural center located in the building benefiting from the electric supply.
In turn, a member of the local community committee in charge of implementing the project, Iyad Sulaika, indicated in a similar statement that the project is a continuation of the civil service initiatives that were accomplished in the town during the last period.
The activities of the local community in the town of Al-Thala have recently completed the installation of a solar energy system to serve the communications exchange in the town, in addition to a project to connect the water wells feeding the town to the electricity network that is exempt from rationing to ensure the continuity of its work and to secure water pumping for citizens.
