The task list for the municipality of Langenpreising for the year that has just started is quite long.
This was made clear at the last council meeting.
One of the many burning issues is the fire station in Zustorf.
Langenpreising – A possible model is still to be inspected for this, i.e. an existing house that could serve as a model for the Zustorfer building.
When asked, Mayor Josef Straßer reported that they would then know more precisely how to proceed with the tool shed.
In this context, he mentioned an interesting detail: The State Office for the Preservation of Monuments actually has a say in the color scheme for the new building - because of the church nearby.
Kindergarten planning picks up speed
From January, according to the mayor, it will be possible to continue planning in the kindergarten area.
In the year 2024, concrete construction should then take place, according to the further schedule.
Practically at the same time, it is being checked what the photovoltaic system should look like in the school gymnasium.
For this purpose, the municipality can fall back on the expertise of the solar friends in Moosburg.
School: How high is the electricity requirement?
From there, the mayor hopes to be able to calculate the electricity requirements at the school.
This in turn then flows into the calculation of both the performance of the system and the size of the planned storage facility.
How effectively the municipality saves energy with its own solar power plants became clear even when calculating the sewage charges, because of course the falling electricity demand has a full impact on the sewage charges, and in this case positively for those connected.
Visit to a wind turbine
The municipal council will also be concerned with the use of wind power in the area of the Wartenberg administrative community: a visit to a wind turbine is planned for February 10th.
In the municipal council, however, there was a clear lack of understanding that this visit should take place in Heidenheim in Baden-Württemberg.
The plant in Schweiterkirchen (Pfaffenhofen district) is much closer.
However, Mayor Straßer could not answer how it came about. He shrugged his shoulders, grinned and said: "Yes, my, maybe the one in Heidenheim is nicer!"
New living space for Zustorf
The development plans have a priority list that can be further processed.
Right at the forefront is the expansion of the Straßäcker industrial park, for which planning according to Strasser's report is well advanced.
Then comes the development plan for Wambachstrasse, which is also at an advanced stage.
Immediately afterwards, and probably also in the coming year, the development plan for the district of Zustorf will come up, where further residential development is to be made possible.
Because it was the last meeting of the year, Straßer took the opportunity to take stock, thanked the municipal council for the good cooperation and commented: "It was mostly nice."
