The bitoon that is identified with the Torah flag against Ben Gabir: "Provocation" | Israel today

2023-01-04T06:04:55.628Z

In the Yatad Na'im magazine, it was written about the minister's ascension to the Temple Mount: "What value is there in a 'victory walk' of a few minutes in front of the cameras - apart from the hope of a media dividend?" • Before the elections, Degal HaTorah Chairman Moshe Gafni attacked Ben Gabir for sometimes going up to the Temple Mount: "It is convenient for him to campaign"

The newspaper Yad Na'aman, affiliated with the Torah Flag faction of the Torah Judaism party, issued a sharp criticism this morning (Wednesday) against Minister Itamar Ben Gabir's ascension to the Temple Mount.

"Who allows these people (unfortunately, some of them also have an ultra-Orthodox appearance) to endanger Jewish lives unnecessarily and contrary to the clear Halacha?", reads the reference to the editorial in Shaar.

"And for what? They don't pretend to build the 'Third Temple', what value is there to a 'victory lap' lasting a few minutes in front of the cameras - apart from the hope of a media dividend?".

An attack from within the coalition.

The cover's headline describes Ben Gvir's move as a "provocation on the Temple Mount".

As I recall, at the "Israel Hayom" conference before the elections, Degal HaTorah MK Moshe Gafni attacked Ben Gabir for going up to the Temple Mount sometimes.

"I agree that it is forbidden to go up to the Temple Mount," he said.

"Ben Gvir goes up to the Temple Mount because it's convenient for him with the campaign."

This morning, Deputy Minister of the Torah Flag Uri Makleb attacked Ben Gabir: "It is forbidden to go up to the Temple Mount. Ben Gabir today is not a private MK but the Minister of National Security of the Land of Israel and he represents the entire public and has a dual responsibility, it is forbidden to provoke nations. This is not how they show Governance".
