Trigema boss Wolfgang Grupp is a man who needs his routine.
Before he goes to the office, he jumps into the pool every morning and swims laps - that keeps him fit.
Burladingen - 80 years old, but not the least bit tired: While others of Wolfgang Grupp's age would probably have retired long ago, the Trigema boss is on site every day and still pulls all the strings.
Conveniently, his villa in Burladingen is not far from his business: Trigema is only a stone's throw away, across the street.
Grupp deliberately shows his private life in public and has repeatedly received reporters on his property in recent years.
His spacious property sometimes includes a 46 meter long pool.
As the company patriarch revealed to the
, he swims in it every day - in all weathers.
He has already made it clear in various media interviews that the Trigema boss attaches great importance to routines.
So he declared muesli to be his favorite lunchtime dish.
As has been widely reported, Grupp eats his muesli every day at home with his family.
The light and healthy snack, served by a butler, provides groups with energy for the afternoon.
In the mornings and evenings, there is usually bread - according to Grupp, he mostly avoids warm meals.
In keeping with this, he also designs his daily supporting program according to his energetic lifestyle.
Disciplined, he jumps into the outdoor pool every morning.
Even in winter, when there can be a lot of snow in Burladingen, Grupp does not do without this routine, reports
Wolfgang Grupp on his property: "What I have here is not a castle or anything else"
In a video excerpt, the
program shows shots of Grupp's extensive estate in Burladingen and pictures of his helicopter.
His property with a 25,000 square meter garden also includes a private chapel where he prays and his knight's hall where he celebrates.
"What I have here or show is not a lock or anything else," explains Grupp to moderator Sandra Maischberger.
"It's a smaller house or something like that.
But I'll say it's well done and everything and I can show that because I've never owed anyone else anything and I always have liability and responsibility for all my decisions.
Although Grupp's fortune was recently estimated at at least 100 million euros, the head of Trigema is modest. According to his own statements, he refrains from "senseless luxury".
As he explained to
, he was more of a "Swabian person".
Although he has everything he needs in top quality.
But money alone cannot bring happiness.
