The unemployment rate in the district averaged 2.1 in 2022 (2021: 2.6 percent; 2020: 2.8 percent).

This means that an average of 1513 people were registered as unemployed.

This is in line with the trend across the agency district.

"We are pleased that the job market has developed positively in many areas this year," says Michael Schankweiler, CEO.

One reason for this is the consistently high demand for personnel in the companies.

"Companies from almost every industry reported more than 12,600 job offers to us over the course of the year," says Schankweiler.

At 5,860, the average number of jobs was significantly higher than in the past two years.

The customers of the employment agency would benefit from this.

The statistics indicate that after an employment relationship ends, many would quickly find a new job.

"It's also nice that people who have been registered as unemployed for more than twelve months and are therefore affected by long-term unemployment are increasingly finding new jobs again," says the CEO.

It is also positive that people from Ukraine also benefit from the high need for personnel.

Vontra says: "We are pleased that some of the people who came to us from Ukraine have already found work." sw
