The municipal company AWISTA KU opens some green waste collection points for the disposal of old Christmas trees.
The recycling centers also accept the trees.
District
– Youth fire brigades, fire brigades or fraternities will collect disused Christmas trees in many places and districts in the district in the coming days, but not everywhere.
The municipal company AWISTA KU therefore points out the disposal options, and there are quite a few – special opening times there too.
Of course, Christmas trees could be handed in at the recycling centers in the Starnberg district, explained AWISTA spokesman Sebastian Roth.
However: "At the same time, the municipal company asks the citizens to simply chop up the decorated Christmas tree with garden shears beforehand, pack it in a bag and take it to one of its 17 recycling centers." www.awista-starnberg.de/entsorgungseinrichtungen or in the AWISTA app.
Special openings on Saturday
Disused Christmas trees are also accepted at the green waste collection points, which the municipal company opens specifically for this purpose.
