According to the police, the male taxi passenger, surnamed Jin, 47 years old, suffered head injuries; the taxi driver, surnamed Pan, 77 years old, suffered forehead injuries.

It was reported that while the taxi was traveling east along Chuk Yuen Road, it was suspected of losing control and crashing into a lorry parked at Chuk Yuen Road near Ma Tsai Hang Road in Wong Tai Sin.

The police received a report at 0:18 a.m. on the 4th. After the taxi driver and passengers were rescued by firefighters, the passenger was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment in a coma, and the driver was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment while conscious.

The taxi driver was still conscious and was taken to hospital by ambulancemen.
