Berlin/Offenbach – The new year begins with a political election campaign in the capital – and right in the middle: rapper arrest warrant from Offenbach.
On February 12, the elections to the House of Representatives will be repeated in Berlin.
The first round took place on September 26, at the same time as the general election.
In November, however, the vote was declared invalid.
Only the opposition can actually win, and so the Berlin CDU caused quite a stir at the beginning of the year with an election poster.
The Christian Democrats got just 18 percent in September and had to cede the post of governing mayor to ex-Federal Minister for Family Affairs Franziska Giffey (SPD).
A simple thesis on the crisis of the CDU can be heard again and again: "The party's regular voters are dying and it doesn't reach young people." But in order to get into conversation with the younger generation, the Berlin CDU now seems to be breaking new ground walk.
The city association posted on Instagram on Wednesday (January 4): "What criminals will soon hear more often: arrest warrant." - a clear allusion to the Offenbach rapper, reports op-online.de.

That is why we are calling for an accelerated procedure in the case of particularly serious attacks on the police and fire brigade.”

The post and photos of an election poster set up in Berlin went around both on Instagram and on Twitter.
Rapper arrest warrant took it with humor, posted one of the photos in his Insta story and did not comment further on the slogan.
But the Berliner
Tagesspiegel
wants to know exactly and asks the CDU in its “Checkpoint” section with a photo of the rapper whether the ambiguity was intentional.
The Christian Democrats react promptly:
"Chabos know who Wegner is." - An allusion to the song by arrest warrant "Chabos know who Babo is" and the top candidate of the Berlin CDU, Kai Wegner.
