Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned the violations of the Zionist entity and its encroachments on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Iran strongly condemns these anti-Islamic acts and the violation of religious sanctities by the West,” Abdullahian said, during a phone conversation with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, stressing that the Zionist entity and its supporters will bear severe consequences for these attacks by Iran and the entire Islamic community.
Abdullahian also referred to his country's firm positions on issues related to the crisis in the region and the need to stop the war in Yemen, Ukraine and Afghanistan.
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the Zionists' violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that the West and the Zionist entity aims to destabilize security and stability in the region by provoking division and encroaching on Islamic sanctities, stressing that the organization is exchanging views with the countries of the region to take the necessary measures to confront and prevent these acts. .
