Mexican authorities reported the arrest and death of Ernesto Piñón de la Cruz, alias "El Neto", the alleged leader of the criminal group that entered a Ciudad Juárez prison on January 1 to escape several prisoners.
According to the report, the offender was injured during his arrest in an operation, and died on the way to the State Prosecutor's Office.
