The end of cables trailing behind the TV cabinet and tangling with those of other equipment?
At the CES show in Las Vegas which begins this Thursday, the Californian start-up Displace is causing a sensation with its prototype 4K TV with an Oled screen where no electrical wire protrudes.
Innovation in all this?
An ingenious system of four rechargeable batteries that fit into the sides of the 55-inch screen.
No need to install your television closer to an electrical outlet and depending on the length of the cable.
It is hung on the wall thanks to strong suction cups without having to drill holes for screws.
"People should be able to install their TV on any wall or any place", explains Balaji Krishnan, the founder of the start-up.
This smart TV has no HDMI port to connect another device such as a game console or Blu-ray player.

The video content is actually broadcast from a box with a powerful processor and through a wi-fi connection.
The Displace TV includes a retractable camera that can be used to make video calls but above all to control the device with a few gestures instead of a remote control.
Its creators promise an autonomy of one month at the rate of an audiovisual consumption of 6 hours per day.
Pre-orders have started and marketing should begin at the end of 2023 at a price of around 3,000 dollars on the American market.
While waiting to convince manufacturers like Samsung or LG to adopt this technology or not.
