When was the last time you were stopped on the street?

"This morning and every day, all day long. They ask me to take a selfie, and every day they stop me and ask me as a figure of miracles from 'Shefa Issachar' to send greetings, videos. I also receive requests from Instagram, and I have to devote whole days to it and work on it. Unfortunately, I can't answer to everyone, but I send greetings for weddings and videos to children who suffer a boycott. I'm not looking for recognition from everyone, I want the action. In my one-on-one shows in front of students, I ask them, 'How many people do you know who get up in the morning for their dream and make money from it?'

This work is a gift.

"'Copa Rasat' is very dear to my heart, also in terms of the content. In my opinion, it is at the level of the 'Chamber Five' or the 'Parliament', even if you see them in 30 years, you will feel that it was not a miracle of composition. When we received the texts and came to the first reading, there was disappointment in the room. We knew it was really good and funny, but the educational program was facing closure within six months. The great thing about the corporation is that they upload the episodes to YouTube, and that's how 'Kupa Rashat' became a cult."

When was the last time you lost a pet?

"I lost my dog Patel less than six months ago. I loved her very much. She has been with me ever since on my mobile: in my WhatsApp there is a picture of her drawn on a pebble by the painter Rina Calderon, the mother of the actress Hadas Calderon. Patel was 11 years old, she was exclusively mine , the children loved her, but I took care of her. She was close to me, listening to music with me, she knew the most psychedelic albums in history. She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart a year ago. I was very careful about her health and nutrition, but because of the condition we started giving her pills, and after Shana the situation got worse. It's a hard loss. It's the only animal you look in its eyes and see a human soul. She knew all my secrets, everything, she knew before everyone else. I tried to save her, but I didn't want her to suffer, and it was a month full of emotions ".

When was the last time you were on set?

"This week I was on the set of 'The Babysitters.' with life stories. For example, there is a girl who skates on ice and has a problem with body image and weight, and there is a girl who lives in a truck and trailer with her parents, and there is a boy who does not go to school. The meetings with them included a singer who lulled them to sleep with a song before bed, and there was a surprise when they brought up Mati Caspi. When I spoke to him, my words trembled, I couldn't believe I was talking to Mati Caspi."

"I envy a good part of musicians a lot. Music is one of the things I love most in the world."

And now you play the character of a criminal in the musical "Habadnikim".

"That's right, when they called to tell me about the role, I told myself it was to play a criminal again, but what do I care? I wanted a musical. When they told me that the Revolution Orchestra conducted by Roy Oppenheim would also appear on stage, my whole body danced."

When was the last time you were misunderstood?

"In Corona, I tried to make a dream come true and learn to play the bass guitar, and my friends didn't understand me. Before that, I bought a drum set, and learned to drum by myself. My friends asked: 'Why bass? It's just boom boom boom boom,' but you can't explain to a person why you I like winter and not summer. Only musicians will understand. There is emotion in the bass. It's something that comes out of the body. As soon as I connect it, my eyes close and I'm there, there's no one to talk to.

"I play 'Methuselah' to myself - it's a room I rented, my corner, where I keep a collection of vintage objects. Since I was a child I had a very strong attraction to old things, until my mother would throw them to me.

"In 1997 I officially started the collection. We had a company Shabbat in Rosh Pina. We slept in a hostel, and in the morning I saw a building in front of me, a house destined for demolition. There was a huge sign on it: 'Please do not enter, risk of collapse', and somehow I read it 'Come' . I climbed and jumped in like Tony and Doug in the time tunnel. I landed in a steel bathtub, I found there perfume bottles, an old TV, crystal bottles, I was like in a time capsule. It was a house that had been closed since the 1970s and I started rummaging through it, taking things that were thrown around The floor, like an official letter written in 1944 and newspaper clippings. My collection contains Israeli movie posters, telephones, typewriters, scales, radios, turntables, bottles."

When was the last time you felt proud?

"I am very proud of my daughter Avital, my Tully. She will be 17 this month, but for me she is my baby who stands in the playpen for three hours and shouts to me 'Daddy, Daddy', and when I come she smiles and goes back to sleep. She plays in 'Shelly the Conqueror' here educationally, And she is amazing. As a child, she came with me to the shows, sat in the sets and saw how it worked. I picked up on her talent very quickly. When she was little we used to lipsync in the car, long before Instagram and Tiktok. I introduced her and her brother to the world of Hebrew poetry, I taught them songs No child knows.

"In the past, there were also auditions that I didn't tell her about because I didn't want her to go, I wanted her to have a childhood, and when the audition for 'My Conqueror' came, the director talked to me about her, but I decided not to get involved. She did a videotaped home audition, they liked her and invited her to another audition And finally she won the position. I believe that everything comes in its time, you can't pick a green orange. I'm just as proud of my son Noam - he's 13.5 years old, a computer genius, understands games and apps, and all as a result of my laziness. When he asked me for help, I told him to go to Google And read how to solve problems."

He broke out in the series "Orim and Tumm" and "The Most Beautiful Years".

Played in "Famata", "Shavas", "Etti Alon - the woman who stole 250 million".

He played in children's and youth series and in the theater.

He is currently playing in "Kopa Rashtih", in "Habadnikim" at the Chamber Theater and in the series "Hasmratifim" returning for a new season here 11. Yaniv Suisa, photo: Eric Soltan

When was the last time you prayed?

"The morning. I put on tefillin every morning. I am a very religious person and I know that there is something or someone above us. Many people think that the sun shines from their ass, but that is not true. Not long ago someone met me at a morning show and saw me putting on tefillin. He asked me Why am I doing this, and I said to him: 'There are those who participate in all kinds of circles, some do yoga and believe in the blessing of the sun, and that's what I do. It's not obvious that you get up in the morning, you have to say thank you.'"

When was the last time you thought about politics?

"Ask me the name of a minister in which ministry and I won't know. I don't control anything related to politics. I know Bibi is Likud, and Lapid is...?"

There is a future.

"Yes? I don't read, I don't watch the news, I don't listen to the radio. I'm disconnected. It's not a good thing, but it's my choice because I have no interest in it."

When was the last time you made an external change?

"Two years ago, for the role of Ofer Maximov. I lost 17 kg in three to four months.

The director Emmanuel Naksh told me to try to lose weight, and I told him 'close, Ali'.

I didn't go on a psychotic diet, I cut back on bread and sweets, and I did sports every day.

After the diet I went to measure shirts and suddenly I was a large size.

To get into the character of Maximov we sat and dug for hours on the character, including reading transcripts from police investigations.

What turned me on was something I recognized in him that also exists in the hero of my favorite movie, 'The Clockwork Orange', and that is his smile.

Ofer also has this disturbed smile.

At his sentencing he smiled like a child being told 'no-no-no', and that was the line that led me.

"I had a funny moment when I met Maximov at the Maccabi Tel Aviv store a year ago.

I'm a die-hard Maccabi Shrouf fan, and I was checking out what's new in the shirts, when I suddenly saw Ofer there, and I yelled 'Oferrrr' at him.

He recognized me.

I went as far as to ask him to take a picture with him.

Then he moved away and I didn't ask, because of the slur, so there is no record of it happening and that makes me sad."

When was the last time you were jealous?

"I'm very jealous of a good part of musicians. Music is one of the things I love most in the world. I've been offered many times to join bands, and I always said it wouldn't happen, but three months ago friends called me and asked me to perform with them with the Magical Mystery Tour, who play songs of the Beatles. At first I was horrified - me? To sing? I'm not a singer, but I said yes. I came to rehearsals two days before the show, I asked to sing 'Twist And Shout' and 'Baby You Can Drive My Car' and another song together with Tali Oren. In rehearsals I realized that I wasn't entering the right scale, I started to sweat, but slowly I got into the tones. On the day of the show I got to Gray, and I haven't had such a fear since the first time I went up to play at Beit Lisin. Although I don't drink alcohol, I asked the waitress for a desert, and I knocked the glass with the shlock. I only prayed May it pass in peace, and when I went on stage I was free.
