Its days are numbered: the Christmas tree.

But what to do with it?

In many communities, volunteers offer a pick-up service - usually for a small donation (symbol image).

Where to put the Christmas tree?

The youth fire brigades are active here in many communities, but the youth Red Cross and the CSU are also on duty.

Südlicher Landkreis

- In several communities, the youth fire brigades are out and about again this year to collect disused Christmas trees.

Citizens are asked to decorate the trees.

The youngsters are also happy about a small donation for this pick-up service.

The collection campaigns of the youth fire brigades in Pastetten, Hörlkofen, Ottenhofen and Finsing take place on Saturday, January 7th.

In Pastetten, the trees should be in front of the front door by 12 noon at the latest.

If a tree is forgotten, you can call Tel. (01 62) 6 87 19 67.

In the municipality of Wörth, the Hörlkofen youth fire brigade collects trees between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Those who live outside are asked to call Stefan Kühnel on Tel. (01 72) 8 74 20 68 beforehand.

If a tree has been forgotten or overlooked, you can also report it until 2 p.m.

From 8 a.m. the Ottenhofen youth fire brigade is also on the move.

The trees should be placed along the road.

And in the districts of Finsing and Neufinsing, the youth fire brigade is also active from 8 a.m. - the ribbons for this are available in Neufinsing at the town hall pharmacy and in Finsing at the beverage center.

In Moosinning and Eichenried, in Neuching and in the urban area of ​​Erding and in Pretzen, the Erdinger Jugendrotkreuz is on duty on January 7th.

In Walpertskirchen, the youth fire brigade sets off against a donation on Saturday, January 14, from 9 a.m.

The trees should be clearly visible at the roadside.

If a tree has not been picked up by 3 p.m., you can call Tel. (01 51) 14 31 08 11.

And in Forstern, the CSU local association is also on the road on January 14th.

Here, too, the trees should be on the side of the road by 9 a.m.

In the case of cul-de-sacs, citizens are asked to bring the trees to the nearest thoroughfare.
