Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Dozens of Palestinians were injured this evening when the Israeli occupation forces assaulted them in the town of Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and assaulted the Palestinians while they were preparing to celebrate the release of Karim Yunis, the dean of the Palestinian prisoners, after 40 years in his detention.
The occupation forces also reinforced their military presence on the outskirts of the town, and on the road connecting Shufa village with the town.
Last night, the occupation forces stormed the house of the Yunis family in the town of Ara in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, and seized the Palestinian flags, and informed the family to prevent raising the flag of Palestine and posters with pictures of the Dome of the Rock or any national symbols, and also prevented them from playing Palestinian patriotic songs.
