The 29-year-old resident of the center, who punched a gynecologist in the emergency room at the Ichilov Hospital after he thought he was "starting with his wife", was convicted of the crime of assaulting an emergency worker and intentionally harming property. He was sentenced to only nine months of community service, along with compensation of NIS 10,000 to the complainant and another NIS 500 to Ichilov
The indictment, filed by the claims department of the Tel Aviv police, revealed that the complainant was a gynecologist at the women's emergency department at the time of the incident.
At night, the accused and his wife came to the emergency room for an examination, when the complainant was working on duty.
The couple entered the examination room when the complainant was there, and under the same circumstances, the complainant informed them that he intended to invite the senior doctor who was in the emergency room at the time, so that she could also examine the accused's wife.
The complainant then left the examination room and the couple remained in the room.

Due to the defendant's suspicion about the manner in which the complainant was examining his wife, he hit the plastic drawers in the room containing medicines with his fists, shouting: "Where is the doctor?".
Later, the complainant approached the accused, then the accused attacked the complainant by punching him in the nose.
As a result of the defendant's actions, the complainant suffered a severe nose injury, and the hospital's equipment was also damaged.
The police prosecutor, attorney Emily Lamy, said that the doctor's questions were legitimate and relevant, and that even if the defendant and his wife believed that there was a flaw in his conduct - there are other ways to deal with it, and resorting to violence is never the right way.
The defense attorney stated that his client accepted responsibility, apologized and was ashamed of himself already in the hospital, after the incident. Also, it seemed that this was really a very unusual incident in the landscape of his life.
Judge of the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, Roy Perry, stated in the sentencing: "The opinion is that anyone who lays hands on a medical public service provider as part of his duties, will be sent behind bars. However, the level of harm according to the ruling that was presented to me is diverse, unfortunately, in these circumstances ".
