The achievements of the nation's wounded in 2022 varied between sports participation, establishment of productive projects, completion of educational attainment, and qualitative participation in exhibitions.
In a video posted on its Facebook page, the Jarih al-Watan project presented the most important achievements of the wounded last year, as 213 wounded people of all disability levels were able to regain their ability after having prostheses fitted to them, and they were able to work, produce, and advance in science.
The injured were able to achieve unprecedented sporting achievements through self-reliance and achieving various successes.
The wounded volunteered with facilitation aids such as crutches, a walker, a laser stick, a talking phone and an electric chair to overcome the injury.
Also, 234 patients with total disability and 116 patients with sub-kidney disability launched new and qualitative production projects and expanded their existing projects, and participated in the most important events and exhibitions.
123 injured athletes, in line with international sports standards, participated in the second Jarih Al-Watan Games, and other wounded athletes won gold in outdoor sports competitions.
The number of injured people entering university education and postgraduate studies has doubled to more than 392, and 171 injured have advanced to the secondary certificate, and 206 to the preparatory school.
The injured had the opportunity to qualitatively participate in various artistic and creative exhibitions, productions and various community activities.
