Game got serious: A big dog attacked a smaller one.
The owners tried to separate their animals - and were both bitten.
Waldkraiburg - According to a police report, a tragic incident occurred on the fenced-in public dog playground on Siemensstraße in Waldkraiburg (Mühldorf am Inn district) on January 2nd.
Large male bites dog owners in Upper Bavaria in the arm
"Apparently a larger male attacked a small dog," the statement said.
When the two dogs were to be separated by the dog owners, both were bitten.
The small dog's concerned dog owner (72) lifted his animal to protect him from attacks by the large male.
But he kept trying to get to the little dog and jumped up on the holder.
He bit him in the forearm.
The man was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Woman wants to separate dogs: animal bites her face – “massively injured”
The 58-year-old owner of the male wanted to separate the two dogs, she tried to pull her animal away from the little dog.
"She got so close to the little dog that he obviously panicked even more, bit her in the face and severely injured it," the statement said.
Due to the facial injury, the woman had to be taken to the Traunstein hospital by rescue helicopter.
Even a helicopter was on duty.

Game became serious: dog bites "tragic accident"

Further investigations into the course of the incident are being conducted by a service dog handler from the central emergency services in Traunstein.
