The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection announced the exemption of the supervisor of a backup bakery in Damascus and referred him to the judiciary due to negligence in the bread industry and failure to meet the required specifications.
The ministry stated in a statement, a copy of which SANA received today, that during an inspection tour by the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, to the reserve bakeries in Damascus to see the reality of their work, he directed that an arrest be made against a bakery as a result of negligence and lack of cleanliness in the bread industry and failure to meet the required specifications.
Minister Salem also directed to dismiss the bakery supervisor and refer him to the judiciary, and to appoint a new supervisor for the bakery and restore him to what he should be.
The ministry announced today the suspension of two catering observers from work and referring them for investigation, in preparation for holding them accountable, due to their extortion of a store.
