The ancient culture normalized such connections for us, but today we understand that the place of lolitas is in fantasies, if at all.
It does exist and is common, but it is usually based on youth rebellion, daddy issues or an attraction to glamor and money.
But when the girls grow up, it passes and remains as a wild memory and sometimes a sharp scratch in the soul.
On the other hand, in older men such a relationship signifies a distorted lifestyle, exploitation, childishness, insecurity, compromise and a distorted perception of reality.
