On Covid-19, "China must share data on its current situation in a transparent way. We can only deal with the pandemic if we work closely together at EU and world level".
The EU Commissioner for Health, Stella Kyriakides writes it on twitter.
"I welcome the agreement of member states on a coordinated EU response to the COVID-19 situation in China during the IPCR meeting yesterday," she said.
Yesterday's Integrated Political Crisis Response (IPCR) mechanism gave, among other things, a "strong recommendation" to EU states to introduce a mandatory Covid test for those embarking from China.
