Project Leonardo (Sony Playstation)
Yesterday, during the world technology conference CES, Sony unveiled the Leonardo Project - a new controller for the Playstation 5 console intended for people with disabilities and incapacitated people.
Sony has been working on the project for the past few years in collaboration with players from the community and its developer division.
The new remote offers a variety of options that will make the players' lives easier.
It comes with keys in several sizes, all of which are removable and can be placed according to personal taste.
The distance of the analog stick can also be adjusted on a 360 axis for maximum convenience.

The new remote can be synchronized together with the DualSense remote, thus combining a gaming experience between the two remotes if necessary.
Or add a friend for a shared gaming experience.
Players can even combine even two Leonardo remotes at the same time.
Of course, they also come with full button mapping options, and personal profiles that will save the players' settings.
Project Leonardo will also support accessories not made by Sony, those designed to provide a solution when the official solutions are not enough.
There are four 3.5 mm AUX connections through which you can connect additional sticks and switches, and map each of them accordingly.

Sony's new remote is not the first step the company has taken to make itself accessible to disabled and disabled players.
With the launch of the PlayStation 5, its exclusive games such as The Last of Us series or God of War began to offer accessibility menus with a wide number of options for adjusting the game experience.
It also allows visually impaired players, for example, to play.

Project Leonardo is Sony's answer to Microsoft's Adaptive Controller, which is also adapted for people with disabilities.
It was marketed in 2018 and won a lot of sympathy among the players.
It 's amazing to see that Sony continues to expand its efforts and develop a dedicated controller that helps prove -
gaming is for everyone.
