Prime Minister Netanyahu underwent a routine colonoscopy examination conducted at Shaare Zedek Hospital - this was announced this morning (Friday) from his office.
At the time of the inspection, Netanyahu was under cover and his place was filled by the Deputy Prime Minister Minister Aryeh Deri, in accordance with the coalition agreements.
During the examination, two small polyps were found, with a benign appearance, which were removed in their entirety during the examination.
The hospital noted that "the prime minister's health is excellent and he has returned to full activity."

As you may recall, last Yom Kippur, Netanyahu spent a whole night in the Shaare Zedek Hospital, after feeling ill during the closing prayer he attended at the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem.
He underwent tests that came out normal and after being released from the hospital he returned to full activity.
In February of this year, Netanyahu successfully underwent a medical procedure to crush a bladder stone.
This was the second time that Netanyahu underwent this procedure, after a stone was also discovered in his body in 2017.
In addition, in 2020, Netanyahu underwent a medical procedure to remove two polyps that were discovered in his colon.
About three months ago Netanyahu celebrated his 73rd birthday, and as far as is known his health is generally good.
