Obviously, the answer is negative for Philippe Caverivière.
The day after this salty column, he puts a layer back on it by advising listeners not to confuse their guest of the day, the lawyer Clarisse Serre, with the politician.

"Qualifying my approach as a 'penguin' and making fun of my 'stumps' on a major national radio station constitutes a profound attack on my dignity as a disabled person"

"Yesterday and again today, at prime time, repeated and outrageous attacks on my disability were made against me on a major national radio station without any journalist or guest on the air reacting"

“To stigmatize a disability with such violence, by mocking a 'penguin' gait and ironically on 'stumps', is of a rare indignity and these handiphobic attacks are totally unacceptable. Beyond my personal case, such handiphobic remarks are an insult to all people with disabilities

He adds: “
It is not tolerable to attack publicly and in such a humiliating and degrading way the physical signs of a serious handicap.
My fight for disability and against all forms of discrimination is total.
Also, I demand a public apology from this great national radio station.
If necessary, I reserve the right to take all possible actions.
