A deadly fire broke out in Tai Wai Mei Lam Village in the early morning. A unit on the 26th floor of Mei Huai Building was on fire. 15-year-old girl.
A total of 6 people in the fire were sent to the hospital, including the girl's mother, her mother's boyfriend and 4 other neighbors. About 150 residents were evacuated. The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
The firefighters and the police explained at the press conference that after the firemen broke the door and entered the house, they found a 15-year-old charred woman, another 40-year-old man fainted in the bathroom, and a 45-year-old female head of household surnamed Zhang was found in the back ladder.
The firefighters found a combustion accelerant in the unit, and the fire spread so fast, so it was suspected to be suspicious. The criminal investigation team of the Sha Tin Police District took over the investigation of the fire.

In addition, the male head of the household was in a coma, the 45-year-old female head of the household was sent to the hospital with second-degree burns on both hands, and another 1 male and 3 female neighbors were sent to the hospital due to smoke inhalation and discomfort. A total of 6 people were sent to the hospital.
Many residents put on their coats and hurriedly evacuated downstairs, very embarrassed.
