The contractor was shot near the gas station on Maccabim Ir road.

After that, the injured contractor ran away and the suspect also ran away.
Upon receiving the report of the shooting, an MDA team arrived at the scene and found the man seriously injured. "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the injured man sitting in a vehicle suffering from penetrating injuries to his body," said MDA paramedic Oded Shinkman.
"We took him out and put him in an intensive care vehicle, we gave him medical treatment that included dressings and medication and evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was serious."
He was later pronounced dead at Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital.
