At about 5 am yesterday, the police received a report from the staff of a convenience store in Ma On Shan, saying that a Chinese man aged about 20 to 30 entered the convenience store for shopping and jumped into the cashier while the staff opened the cash register to collect money. The arrested man was reported to be a transport worker. The police are investigating his motive for committing the crime and whether he was involved in other similar cases. They are also investigating whether he has accomplices.
