The well-known restaurant "Corso" in the old town of Dachau has been closed since December 29th.

It gets a new tenant.

Dachau

- The well-known "Corso" in the old town of Dachau has been closed since December 29th.

Host Xhavit Morina said goodbye to his guests via Facebook: “13 years of Corso Cucina.

We say thank you to all our loyal guests, regular guests and friends!” Christian Rößner, owner of the property at Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 24, had previously terminated the tenancy with Morina.

However, the restaurant should not be empty for long, as Rößner emphasizes when asked.

“A lot is currently being rebuilt and made new”.

The reopening of the restaurant is then “probably in mid-March, possibly as early as the beginning of March”.

According to Rößner, it is already clear who will be Morina's successor as tenant of the restaurant: Marco and Christian Di Pasquale.

With this, according to Rößner, "well-known family of restaurateurs", he had already worked out a "joint concept" for the new "Corso", and the participants had "identical opinions" on all points.

Rößner emphasizes that he has known the Di Pasquale family "for years", "they are full professionals"!

The people of Dachau in particular could confirm this: His new tenants had already run the "Rossini" and the "Palais" disco in Dachau, as well as the "Tonino" in Karlsfeld.

In this respect, the brothers Marco and Christian Di Pasquale are "very well known from their various gastronomic locations in and around Dachau", the "Rossini" in particular was an "institution" in the large district town.

Previous tenant Morina: "They wanted to get rid of me"

From spring onwards, visitors could then look forward to being able to “eat well and have a good meal” on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße in the evenings and to experience a “great bar business”.

According to Rößner, all dishes are also available to take away.

The pizza is baked in an original Italian wood-fired oven.

A café is planned for the afternoon, and brunch should be possible in the morning.

In short: "It's going to be great!" He is convinced that the concept "will do the whole old town of Dachau good".

The previous landlord Xhavit Morina, on the other hand, is not quite as enthusiastic about the change of tenants.

The tenancy, he suggests, was not terminated by mutual agreement.

Rößner "wanted to get rid of him because he had someone else," says Morina.

His current emotional state is mixed: Of course he will miss his guests and his restaurant, which he has been running since January 2009.

"That makes me really sad." On the other hand, he also feels a certain relief: "Now I'm relieved of pressure, I don't have to do anything with the whole thing anymore."
