INTERVIEW – Ten years after their first collaboration, which has become cult, the Japanese artist and the French trunk maker are unveiling a new project, of unprecedented scale, under the sign of the collector and the joy of living…post-Covid.


In 2006, to Marc Jacobs who came to meet his idol in his Tokyo studio, Yayoi Kusama proudly showed a Louis Vuitton bag whose canvas she had personally painted with her compulsive dots.

Ten years later, the two accomplices, whose notoriety and rating have continued to grow, are doing it again with Creating Infinity, more than 400 clothes, accessories, bags, perfumes and trunks contaminated by deceptively harmless graphic patterns.
