Lu Chongmao, director of the Medical and Health Bureau, recently stated that in response to the overload of public hospitals and the long waiting time for patients under the new crown virus and influenza, it is recommended that those who test positive and have mild illnesses can seek medical treatment in private hospitals.

According to the isolation order, if a confirmed person needs to go out to seek medical treatment, they can use point-to-point transportation to leave the isolation area without notifying the Department of Health.
