A 39-year-old man drove his Mazda head-on into a house wall in Mönchengladbach.
The house was damaged in the entrance area.
The police are investigating.

Mönchengladbach: Mazda driver crashes into the house wall in an accident
The accident happened on Friday night, reports 24RHEIN.
Around 12:50 a.m., the 39-year-old Mazda driver is said to have been on Marie-Juchacz-Strasse.
He drove in the direction of Klosterhofweg.
According to the police, the man did not turn at the T-junction there for reasons that have not yet been clarified, but continued straight ahead.
“Then he drove head-on across a front yard into the facade of a house.
There was damage to the building around the front door.
The 39-year-old's vehicle also suffered severe damage," the police said on Friday.
Mazda crashes into house wall - driver was drunk
The man said when questioned that he had previously picked up two hitchhikers.
But they left before the police got to the scene of the accident.
The 39-year-old suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for a check-up.
A report is now waiting for the man.
"Because the person who caused the accident stated that he had drunk alcohol and an alcohol test was positive, a doctor took a blood sample there," the police reported.
Driver's license and vehicle were seized.
The investigation against the man is ongoing.
The police are asking for witnesses to the accident and the possible hitchhikers who are said to have run away.
