The bodies of two babies were found in an apartment in Rumilly (Haute-Savoie) during an intervention by the gendarmerie, the Annecy prosecutor told AFP on Friday January 6.
According to
Le Dauphine Libéré
, which revealed the information, the discovery took place on Sunday January 1 in the home of a family after an alarming call from the mother for help.
“Aggravated intentional homicide”
A seal placed on the door reported an intervention on January 1 for "
aggravated voluntary homicide
", noted AFP.
However, at this stage, no judicial investigation has been opened, said prosecutor Line Bonnet-Mathis, who did not wish to give more details, pending a press release later in the day.
The regional daily affirms that the bodies were found in a state of skeleton for one and mummified for the other.
