Because it is not about this vast abstract ground of platonic speculations which is the “sustainable development”, but of our modest small backyard where we were born, where we breathe, live and love.

However, this living environment is treated lightly as a selfish privilege over which we would have no right, only the community having the knowledge infused with our aspirations.

Why wouldn't we have the right to defend it?

These places which have witnessed who we are, these landscapes with which we have forged immemorial links, why not admit it, they are a part of ourselves.

With a number of ideas,

they are the essence of patriotism.
