The operation which culminated Thursday, January 5 in Mexico in the arrest of Ovidio Guzman, one of the sons of drug baron Joaquin Guzman (or "El Chapo") imprisoned in the United States, left 10 dead among the soldiers engaged and 19 among the suspected criminals, announced this Friday the government.

Ten soldiers (...) unfortunately lost their lives in the line of duty
," Defense Secretary Luis Cresencio Sandoval told reporters, adding that there were also "
19 dead
" among suspected criminals.
