– Officials from the Tölz police inspection always had to follow their noses in their investigations in an apartment building in the center of Tölz.
They had been told that there had been a strong smell of marijuana there for several weeks.
Bad Tölz: Police secure large amounts of marijuana
When a patrol paid a visit to the address in question around 3 p.m. on Thursday, the police officers immediately noticed what was meant.
The scent trail led them to the apartment of a 38-year-old, who also readily admitted possession of marijuana.
The officers secured a cannabis cultivation facility and "not small amounts of marijuana" in the apartment, according to the police report.
Den Tölzer is now facing criminal proceedings for violating the Narcotics Act.
