Three men were arrested on Sunday January 1 in Tournan-en-Brie (Seine-et-Marne), while attacking a banknote distributor with a cutter,

Around 9 p.m., the team of thugs managed to infiltrate a shopping mall in the town when it was closed.
Dispatched to the scene, the gendarmes of Tournan-en-Brie came face to face with the thieves, who were trying to cut the distributor with a grinder.
They arrested them and took them into custody.
According to information from Actu17, the suspects are from South America;
one is Chilean, another is Cuban and the last one is Venezuelan.
They had planned to attack other distributors in Seine-et-Marne and Essonne.
The Melun prosecutor's office told
Le Figaro
that the three defendants had been presented before the criminal court for an immediate appearance hearing for the counts of "
aggravated theft attempt
" and "
criminal association
".
The hearing having been adjourned, they were remanded in custody pending their trial scheduled for February 9.
