The CSU brought a creative initiative to the city council: a zero-euro ticket.
On a special occasion, the city should be merciful with illegal parkers.
Unterschleißheim – The CSU parliamentary group has submitted an application to the city council, which will soon be voted on: municipal traffic monitoring should be merciful to illegal parkers on special occasions.
During the folk festival, before Christmas or during the holiday season, the park sheriffs should no longer stick warning money behind the windshield wipers, but only distribute a zero-euro fine.

Group spokesman Stefan Krimmer said: “At folk festivals, please do not issue a warning of 15 euros for small trifles, such as parking against the direction of travel, but a lucky ticket of zero euros.
That would have a better learning effect.” Krimmer referred to the city of Passau: In the event of minor misconduct, it issues penalties that say: “You were lucky!
You have not parked your vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the StVO.
We hope that in the future you will comply with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act and thus avoid a warning fine.

It can also strengthen the partnership between citizens and the municipality.
The CSU parliamentary group has been struggling with municipal traffic monitoring for years.
In many city council discussions, she spoke out against joining the “Zweckverband Kommunale Verkehrskontrolle” (Communal Traffic Monitoring Association), but was outvoted.
After a two-year test phase, the parking and speed control has now been permanently introduced in Unterschleißheim.
