Based on reports and in-depth investigations, officers of the Tsuen Wan Police District Special Duty Team launched an operation at about 7:00 pm yesterday (6th) and raided a unit in Shek Lei Estate, where they seized about 70 grams of suspected crack cocaine, about 280 Ke suspected ketamine, a batch of packaging drug tools including electronic scales, scissors and a large number of plastic bags. The total market value of the seized drugs was about 300,000 yuan.

During the operation, officers arrested an 18-year-old local man surnamed Huang on suspicion of "drug trafficking". He is currently being detained for investigation.

The police emphasized that they have adopted a zero-tolerance attitude towards all drug activities and will continue to carry out anti-drug operations.

The police also reiterated that drug trafficking is a serious crime. According to the "Dangerous Drugs Ordinance" Chapter 134 of the Laws of Hong Kong, once convicted, the maximum penalty is a fine of 5 million yuan and life imprisonment.
