After ten years, the children's cinema in the district of Erding in Pastetten is back in its old place.

The premiere in the rectory was a complete success.

Further dates are planned.

Pastetten

- The children's cinema in the district of Erding started again in November last year.

In Pastetten, the first performance was a complete success.

After almost ten years, the children's cinema has returned to the rectory.

"We were looking forward to playing again.

And the children were looking forward to it so much that we were almost overrun,” explains Gudrun Schmidt from the organization team.

40 "very disciplined" moviegoers were on the one hand a challenge, on the other hand a lot of fun for the team.

This was freshly set up for the current season.

In addition to Gudrun and Günther Schmidt as old hands, Nicole Keweloh as the handicraft fairy as well as Anja Weger and Lieselotte Pflügel are again there this year.

The venue is new because the school had to change its room concept with the introduction of the open all-day school (OGTS).

"The music room was no longer available to us for the cinema," says Schmidt.

Luckily, the opportunity arose to move back into the rectory, where the performances had taken place from 1992 to 2013.

"We found accommodation here without paying anything, and we're very grateful for that," explains Schmidt.

The rooms would be ideal, because after the film the children could go straight to the adjoining room to do handicrafts.

This is once again the popular highlight after the performance.

At the photo session with our newspaper, almost 30 children and adults visited the children's cinema.

During the break there were cookies and tangerines.

After that, the young spectators enthusiastically set about making little things for at home.

Afterwards there were some games together, which all guests in the rectory enjoyed very much.

The fact that the protégés from the afternoon care were also there was made possible by the support of the OGTS management.

In consultation with the parents, she released the children for the cinema.

For the coming season, young viewers can look forward to "Wickie and the Strong Men", "Maya the Bee - Friendship is Thicker Than Honey" and "The Bunny School - Hunt for the Golden Egg".

The films were selected by the municipal youth work department at the Erding district office together with several children's cinema teams from the eight participating municipalities in the district.

"The team has come up with a little surprise for each of these films, but it won't be revealed just yet," says Gudrun Schmidt.

Even if the current children's cinema season has started very well and with committed colleagues, Schmidt is concerned about the future.

"We would like to see more support for volunteer work, especially from the younger generation, so that we can keep the children's cinema in Pastetten going," she says.

next performance

The next showing at the Pastetten children's cinema is the film "Wickie and the strong men" for children aged six and over on Monday, January 23, from 3 p.m. in the rectory.

The venues in the district are in Inning am Holz (town hall), Taufkirchen (primary school/2nd floor multi-purpose room), Dorfen (children and youth center - dining room), Walpertskirchen (school), Pastetten (parish home), Forstern (primary school), Finsing ( school) and Isen (school/music hall).
