A total of 227 cases of XBB (including one case of XBB.1.5), six cases of XBD, eight cases of BA.2.75.2, seven cases of BA.4.6, 13 cases of BF.7 and 38 cases of BQ.1.1 subfamily.

As for the local cases, 10 more positive cases of mutant virus strains were found, including 4 cases of XBB, 3 cases of BF.7 and 3 cases of BQ.1.1. Yesterday (6th) 4,893 confirmed patients were hospitalized in public hospitals.

Among the confirmed patients in hospital, 479 were newly confirmed patients, 2 825 were admitted to isolation facilities, 819 were receiving oxygen therapy, and 92 needed ventilators to assist breathing.

A total of 46 critical and 38 serious confirmed patients were newly reported. At present, a total of 219 critical and 248 serious confirmed patients are hospitalized, and 56 critical patients are receiving intensive treatment.

At present, the 3-month-old girl in the Yiyuan Hospital and the 8-year-old Princess Margaret boy are in critical condition, and the 2-month-old girl in Princess Margaret Hospital is in serious condition.
