Iran executed a karate champion and a trainer of children who participated in the protests - voila! news

Today (Saturday) Iran hanged two young men who participated in the demonstrations and were convicted of the murder of a member of the Basij militia - the news agency of the country's judiciary reported.

The two - a karate trainer and a children's trainer - join two other protesters who were executed in recent weeks by the regime, which is trying to suppress the wave of protests against it.

According to human rights organizations, dozens more protesters arrested since September face the death penalty.

Hundreds of people, including dozens of members of the security forces, have been killed over the past few months in demonstrations that erupted following the death of the Kurdish young woman Mehsa Amini, who was arrested by the morality police in Tehran because she did not wear a hijab according to the laws of Islamic law.

According to the judicial authority, the two who were executed this morning were Muhammad Mahdi Karami and Muhammad Hosseini, who were convicted of the murder of Rohallah Ajamian during the demonstrations in Karaj on November 3.

A lawyer who advised Karami claimed that the regime did not allow him to talk to his family before his execution.

He said he began a hunger strike on Wednesday in protest that the authorities did not approve the lawyer to represent him.
